Omodo
is the patent owner of the 'Zelfo' material process
which produces a sustainable alternative for many plastics,
hardwoods, composite boards and metals. Zelfo is made
from 100% renewable cellulose based materials and is biodegradable. We license the Zelfo process
to end users who intend to produce Zelfo themselves
for use in their own products. Zelfo applications
include: Architectural Interior
finishes, Automotive, Furniture, Interior Lighting,
'Life Style' products, Loudspeakers, Musical
Instruments.
Our business is comprised of four distinct
areas:

- licensing:
Negotiation of production Licenses to manufacturers

d: The continuous improvement of the
material properties related to production
processes and end user requirements

between end users and manufacturers
Background:
Zelfo
was developed by Robert Bramsteidl, Horst
Dopfner and Martin Ernegg in Austria during
the 1990's - early 2000. This ground breaking
work was consolidated in the patent now owned
by Omodo the use of which is
now available via license to product manufactures
on a global basis. To support our licensees
we operate a continuous material improvement
program in collaboration with European institutes, authorities and both national
and international companies
